Plain Highway Pegs vs Stirrups
I want to install some highway pegs on my '08 Nomad, but I am curious about the stirrup style offered by Kuryakyn part #8071 http://www.kuryakyn.com/index.cfm/go...ID/52/IMID/484. Trip, I noticed you had this set mounted on your bike. Does anyone have experience with this type of peg over the standard ISO pegs?

Plain Highway Pegs vs Stirrups
I have a set that kury calls the switchblade. IT has a stirrup that folds up into the peg so you can ride either way. They came with the bike. After using them though I would have chosen something like the ones in your link so that I had a larger pad for my heel but the ones I have are very comfortable. You may look into them to give yourself more options.
Switchblad e Link Mine are mounted on an offset highway bar mount. |
