You can go to UPS.COM and figure the shipping from Lindale, TX - 75771. The seats are about 5-10 lbs??

Trip, I'll take the seats if not spoken for already....looks like about 14 bucks to ship here....may play with modifying the seat a little .......

Todd.if you mod the seat, cut the tapered wedge off,and make the back straight up.. sort of like the Mustang,, gives you alittle extra sliding room,,, I also added a gel pad and 1/2" foam,, I should have added 1".. Illt ry that next round....

While there seems to be a frenzie here, I too have new seats off of a 2004 that I am looking to sell. I was asking $45 plus shipping (for both front and rear as a set).. Also, I have a new collector box (if that is what you guys call a goats belly). What is it worth to you?

tinskeep, I might be interested in the riders seat if you still have it.

It will fit a 2008 Nomad, right?

If I'm going to get my seat re-done, I don't want to be without the bike for a week or two.

Dandolfn, the seats off a 1500 won't fit on a 1600. The mounting bolts are located in different places. Sorry 'bout that. ???

Well, the part numbers are the same for both the 2004 and the 2008 (53003 & 53003A), so how sure o that are you?

It doesn't look like Mustang offers the same seats for Nomad 1500 and 1600, and I'd expect they would if they were the same.

Different set of options for 2004 and 2005 with different part numbers.

It looks like VulcanE might be right.

I took both of these drawings off of the RonAyers fiche. The seat part numbers ARE the same, which is strange, but the way the seats are bolted look different.

I am POSITIVE they are not the same. Your part #s you listed are different, and they are reference #s. The actual part # for a '04 (Kawi #s) is 53001-1947-MA, and for the '05-08 models, the # is 53066-0054-MA.
