Winter Blues Got Worse / BB update

Yesterday I was given a beautiful day of no wind and sunshine. I took the oportunity to take the nad to the shop and drop her off to have my cobras mounted. I was only about a 6 mile ride but man it was fine. Today the weather sucks and is supposed to all weekend so I guess its ok that I won't get her back till tuesday.

Oh by the way. It may have been partially because I was wearing insulated gloves but my BB trick seems to have greatly reduced the vibration in the bars. It is not completely gone but I am curious on how much of the it is due to the stock stones having 10,000 miles on them. I would bet that it will be reduced even further with the new tires. I imagine that with an engine of this size it would take a considerable amount of effort to completely eliminate the vibe.

I can tell you that my front end vibration did not go away when I replaced my worn, cupped B'stones with shiny new ME880's.

Well thanks for bursting my bubble.. J/K The BBs worked pretty well. Before I could actually see the ends of the bars moving at idle. Now they only visibly move when I rev the engine.
