another maintenance question.....

this is my first water cooled bike so i need to ask...i plan on flushing the radiator and fluids next week. should i go ahead and replace the
thermostat while i am at it? this bike is an 03 and i imagine the
thermostat is original. thanks for the advice! :)

another maintenance question.....

I suppose it couldn't hurt to do so. Do you suspect a problem - or is it one of those "as long as I'm in there..." kind of things?

(from Cheap Cycle Parts online fiche):

49054....THERMOSTAT..........1....$23.57
92055....O-RING, 53.5X2.6.....1....$2.31

The o-ring seals the thermostat housing you have to split to get to the thermostat.

another maintenance question.....

I have done that before....but it usually ends up in "As long as I am in there how can I screw things up?"

+1, my motto is , if it ain't broke , don't break it more, or something along those lines. :-)
