Wanted - Windhield Emblem

I wonder if anyone has or knows where I can get the large emblem from the front of the windshield? I think it would look great on the back of my venture trunk. Is anyone willing to part with one????

....hey OP
I'm looking for one too. You can buy them new from BikeBandit or Ron Ayres or CheapCycleParts. Cost is about $35.00. Actually, I was looking at the emblem from the rear of the passenger backrest. I think they are a little different shape. If you find more than one, keep me in mind!! :)

...yeah, well, CheapCycle Parts usually has the best price for OEM parts. Shipping to US destinations is over $13 according to their website. Shipping to Canada is over $35 via USPS. Most vendors I have seen shipping smaller items to just about anywhere in the USA is under $10. They may have the best price for an item but they make up for it by overcharging for shipping. $35 shipping in the mail to Canada is just a complete ripoff! They obviously have lots of business and they don't care about selling to us in the frozen north. End of rant!!! :(" title="" border="0"/> Ok, I feel better now!

Lomax, you got me thinking...

Backrest Vulcan emblem w/ US shipping:
Bike Bandit $38.31 (+ $7.95 shipping) = $46.26
Mr Cycles $32.87 (+ $11.00 shipping) = $43.87
Cheap Cycle Parts $28.09 (+ $12.29 shipping) = $40.38

Surely there must be an equivalent to these vendors in Canada?

If there is an equivalent, I have not run into them. I did check with Kawasaki stealer here and they want $48.00CDN for this item but they say it is, and has been on B/O for a while. So no delivery date avail. from them. I have an address in Oroville, WA that I have had stuff sent to in the past and when I do that, I get the same shipping rate as you. However, I'm 3 hours from the border so its a bit far to go for a small item. Besides, its winter and I can't ride down there. Its handy to have someone get stuff shipped to them and then forward via mail up here, like redeye did with the cruise control. But I hate to be a pain in the ass liike that. I will continue to look in Canada for suppliers. They gotta be here too! I am always watching for US suppliers that are fair with shipping rates. There are some that are good, like Dennis Kirk and a few others. Happy New Year! :)

I did an E-Bay search for "Vulcan Badges" & the above popped up.

For some reason KawaNow will not allow me to paste the whole link. You'll have to add "badges" to the link

You guys are a bad influence!

After months of hem-hawing about it, I finally ordered the two tank emblems and windshield emblem for mine, each of which was removed by the previous owner. Was $138.00 OTD with shipping at $12.78. I shopped at BikeBandit and another vendor, but after shipping they wanted $20 or more for the same item. Ick.

This is the final piece to restoring my ol' girl to stock (sans the V&H Baggers, which I like!).... I can't wait!

We're all "enablers" here.

See, If BobZinger hadn't mentioned that the cruise control units were on sale for a ridiculously low price, I'd never have stumbled on them and bought one (okay more like 6 of them), and I would have spent this week sitting around watching football and drinking seven and sevens instead of toiling in the garage mutilating my Nomad.

We'll have to start doing interventions one day. ::)
