Extended warranty, what does in NOT cover?

I did some searching but I can't find any details on the Kawasaki Good Times Protection Plan.

What does it NOT cover?

I assume brakes, tires and batteries are not covered.

What else?

Clutches too of course.

On all my Nomads I've had things covered like the rubber boot on the drive shaft that cracked, O ring where the shifter shaft goes in, oil leaks on the 99 cam plugs, battery when it died in the first year from a short, etc.

Some things you need to be persistent on. The dealer calls an 800 number and gets told yes or no. I got a no on the shaft boot because I had "too many miles". I pushed and said that how logical is it to sell an "unlimited mile" warranty, and then deny coverage for having too many miles? It ended up getting replaced.

My current Nomad has had something wrong with the clutch. It starts slipping every 4,000 miles twice over. The previous ones would go 30-35,000 miles. They wouldn't warranty it, but I kept pushing and making them call the number, then I called the customer number and kept using the logic that this is my 4th nomad and the others weren't doing it (I rode the others the same way). They ended up "good willing" every component from the master cylinder on the bars to to every part of the clutch to try to make it work right.

My answer I guess is that they will replace most everything but tires brakes and clutches; you just might have to push a little on some things.

Like Dan said, it should cover everything except parts designed to wear out.
