2009 lineup?

Talked to a Kawi dealer today. They are sworn to secrecy until the 22nd. I let him know that the speculation was that the Nomad might be discontinued or that it might have a larger engine. He basically speculated that the Nomad would continue and that there might be a full dresser in the works. We will know soon enough.

I'd put yours up on ebay with a 10 day listing that ends on the 23rd :)

The market will be flooded with used Nomads after that. I don't mean everybody will be selling there's, but if there are only 3 on ebay, and then there is 5-10, that really changes the price.

No, I think I'll keep mine. I really don't think there will be that many people jumping on a full dresser unless the price is really cheap and I really doubt that that will be the case. Besides that, sometimes ya just want to take the shield off and have that wind in your face.

Heck, I just bought my '08 this summer! My wife would kill me if I told her I wanted a full dresser. I gotta put some miles on this bad boy before I can even THINK of upgrading! I am anxious to see it though if that is in fact the deal....

I am going to kick myself. I bought my Nomad in May and now I will wish I had waited. I won't give up the one I have though. I love this thing. Besides it will take them a couple years to work the kinks out of a new model.

No new bike for me on the horizon. I am just getting my 2005 model to the point where it is comfortable, handles nice, and performs like it should have from the factory. If there is a new dresser on the 22nd it had better do all the above things from the factory or it aint getting my money when its time to buy a new bike.
