Don't ride the shuttle bus

This past weekend, we spent three days in Sonoma at Infineon Raceway for the Indy Series Racing.

Our bus was over a mile from our seats.

I was surprised they let MC's ride the pedestrian paths. We parked 100 ft from our seat!

Gotta luv motorcycles!

So how was it? (The actual racing I mean.)

I miss racing, but I just can't go to those things any more. Too many people, difficult parking, too expensive, too much of a nuisance to get there, too few chances to take off from work anyhow.

I'd prefer to spend the time riding in the forest somewhere.

The racing was on the boring side actually. Not enough passing on the 11-turn road course. This was my 1st Indy race after many Nascar races. The party was great though!
1. BBQ Filets
2. BBQ Baby Back Ribs
3. BBQ Trout

The weather and the views were beautiful though and it was good being there. Indy racing is cheap compared to Neckcar, but I still like 8 wheels making a turn :)
