Fortunately everyone walked away. I'm not condoning what the rider did.Running from the police is never a good choice. However, I really get tired of listening to one segment of riders get down on another segment. If you think sport bike riders give motorcycles a bad name, you must surely realize how annoying loud pipes (cruisers, typically V-Twins) are to those that do not ride.How much more dangerous is it for a sport bike that has good brakes and handles good to run 100 mph, than a Nomad or similar cruiser to run along at 80 mph with a rider that might not have the reflexes or vision or hearing that he had say 20 or 30 years ago.Again, I'm certainly not condoning the riders actions but, don't cast stones if you live in a glass house.

At least the news story (KSL at least) consistently referred to it as a bullet bike so not much chance of confusing it with a Nomad.

I don't care what kind of bike the guy was riding, a criminal is a criminal. I'm sick and tired of these people who try and run rather than face the consequences of their actions. It happens all the time down here, my son's car was totalled by a hit-run scumbag and even with witnesses, the police never found the guy.
