Sold the Nomad

I am very sorry to say that I have sold my trusty Naomi the Nomad. It took a lot of thought and anguish to decide to do this, but I just couldn't bring myself to subject her to the hard labors of pulling a 400 to 500 pound trailer up and down the mountian passes out here.

For a replcement, I am searching for something with good bones and a strong heart. Like a VN2000 LT to begin the conversion process. Since MawKaw hasn't answered my supplications for a V2Nomad, I'm going to see what I can do.

Will you guys let a Nomad on stiriods ride with you?

I'd be happy to ride with you no matter what you're sitting on. Good luck and ride safely.

Sure we'll still ride with you. You may just have to keep an eye out for us in the mirror or roll off the throttle of that "Mo'mad" a little bit so we can keep up.

John, it's not what you're riding, it's what's in your heart!

As far as I'm concerned, you're welcome to hang around.

Cheers, Bob

I was rather suprised at how fast she went. You would have loved her. But, whe went to a local rider. When he walked into the garage, I knew he couldn't resist. Actually, Roger did all the selling for me last week. The guy that is buying it works with Roger.

Good luck with finding the new VN2K. I've though long and hard about buying one myself, but I just couldn't bring myself to replace the Nomad before it's worn out.

Eventually it occurred to me that there's absolutely nothing wrong with owning a Nomad and a VN2K. I think that's what I'm going to shoot for. I was thinking about a Connie 1400, but somehow, as nice as they are, it's just not "me".

Nothing wrong with the V2K if that is what your riding needs for pulling. However, non-nomad drivers have to buy the first round.
