My name is Juan Gonzalez and they call me Sarge cause i am in the military. I have been riding for several years and have had several bikes. I chose to get a Nomad because it fit me better than the other bikes I tried out. I have found out recently that the Nomad can withstand a pretty intense crash and come out smelling like a Rose. I will be in the background just checking out the forums and will pop in here and there when I have the necessity to ask for help. Thanks for having me here.

Welcome Sarge!!! This is a great source for information and is full of a lot of really great folks, even if some of us get a little wacky sometimes. :)

Welcome again

Welcome from Indiana, you don't have to stay in the background, everyone has something to offer no matter how new to a Nomad. Tell us about the crash, any pictures of the bike?

I really dont like to show any pictures of the bike because it brings back memories of the crash. You can say that both the bike and myself came out pretty good. The only thing I had was a broken neck that took about a month to heal and the bike about the same amount of time to get out of the hospital. Those memories are in the past because I really dont know what happened after I went off the road. How you see me in the picture is how I looked after the crash other than having a neck collar. All is fine now..So it is time to ride again. My 1600 Nomad is an 07. It is red and creme looking. Her name is Angel. She was my keeper when I had my crash.

Hi Sarge and welcome from Georgia.

Feel free to jump in anytime you want. Grab a cold one from the cooler over there in the corner and get comfortable. :)

Cheers,
Bob
