Whoa! That really lacks the normal Kawasaki elegance in styling seen in the Nomad, Classic, and all the other Vulcans, with the possible exception of the old 750. Certainly an ugly stepsister to the Nomad. Hard to imagine they could start with a beautiful Nomad and miss so badly. The lines of the bags, trunk, and faring look cobbled together. Maybe this is an initial draft before they smooth things out.

It looks like they took a beautiful 2006 black Nomad and mixed it with parts from a 2003 Kawasaki Voyager XII, a 2008 Honda Gold Wing, and a 2007 Screamin' Eagle Ultra Classic Electro Glide.

That's my guess. It lacks originality but I guess I'll give my dealer a deposit on one anyway. The good news is I will fit in with just about any riding group.

You would think Kawasaki would ask the people who are members of forums like this to help them determine what should be done to make the Nomad a better bike. I know I want a trunk for my Nomad and possible a front fairing, but I would not buy a bike that looks like the one in this picture. I like the classic look of the Nomad and would hate to see it changed just so it can look more like a Gold Wind or a Harley.

Definitely. Look at the transition between the passenger and drivers seat. That would be really uncomfortable.

Sorry Guys,

I was just fooling around last night and mixed four bikes up: a 2006 black Nomad, a 2003 Kawasaki Voyager XII, a 2008 Honda Gold Wing, and a 2007 Screamin' Eagle Ultra Classic Electro Glide.

I'll stop this madness now before the folks over a the Voyager forum pick up on this pic and actually call their dealer. Poor bastards.

The only thing left is for you is to identify which parts go with which bike. Have fun.

Jon

Whew, I think BD is right. It just doesn't do it for me. I was wondering about bigger front exposure, trunk and weight, needing more power.
I like the normal Nomad. Simple and cool. What more do I need?

As a fellow photoshopper, I congratulate you on your handywork. It fooled me (for awhile).
