typical rainy day in Vermont

No riding today. It rained on and off all day long with some pretty impressive downpours to boot. Lost power by about 3:00 pm so I figured, what the heck and decided to go out for coffee the next town over. Okay, won't take the bike, so I can take the cage and take the back roads and cut a 17 mile drive to 10 miles. I even snapped a few pictures of my commute. Here they are:

Poor man....having to live in such a drab part of the USA!!!

Great pics! It's nice to see everything so green. We could use some of that moisture here, as things are getting pretty brown.

Vermont is so pretty. When I was working up there on assignment for 5 months a few years back I loved getting out on the bike and just exploring. You cannot find a place there that is not picturesque.

Wow, I have never been to Vermont.I am surprised how much it has in common with Nebraska. The only difference seems to be the hills, trees, and a lack of corn.LOL.It is definitely beautiful country.Someday I hope to be able to get out there and do some riding.

I been to Nebraska, but not by bike. It was hot, dry and lots of corn

Aha, somebody has lived in the north country at one time! You are absolutely right. Snow is gorgeous until it is mixed with cars, salt and sand. I greatly enjoy driving in the snow, but when no one else is around me. Nothing is more enjoyable than being out on a lonely country road when it is snowing making my deliveries.
