Exhaust

Lookin at Vance and Hines dual baggers. Hope they sound good. They are supposed to have a nice rumble but not too crazy. Just wondering if anbody has them and how they like them. Also do i need a power commander or anything like it after i install exhaust. I have a 2007 1600 nomad and i love it.

Jimbo: i have those pipes and LOVE them. Just the right loudness and rumble. if you are just changing out pipes you do not need the power commander. Enjoy them, and WELCOME aboard.

Jimbo if your only putting on just new pipes you do not need a power commander or TFI. Your Nomad computer will take care of everything. Now if you decide to add a Thunder air kit or BAK then you will need to add a TFI or PC.

What they said. No PCIII needed.

They sound great, but not too loud, so I un-packed the baffles. Now it sounds like a 60's muscle car. Bad Ass!!!

Welcome Aboard ! Like Frenchy said there are various mods you can do to the V&H pipes to tailer them to the sound you prefer. You can even make them quieter than the way they are shipped if you choose.
