EMERGENCY HELP

I need a magnetic switch. Listed here

I need it by no later than tuesday evening.

Please help my dad and i were planning on attending the rally in MV.

Isn't that located behind the coolant tank? If so the terminals on mine was corroded and wouldn't let the bike crank sometimes. It gave intermittent starting problems. I cleaned all the terminals real good and haven't had any more problems.

yes its mine started intermiten probs took a look and it was nearly totally melted. It broke down on me today and i had to trailer home. first time for me

I have seen them on ebay called a relay. Mine was just corroded with the green flaky corrosion. It looks like a wire connector with a fuse. Not sure what else it does but could you by-pass the plastic housing until you can get one?

Go to a kaw dealer and if they don't have, see if they'll take on off a bike in the showroom and they could reinstall when they get it in.

This way you could be on your way

The only way you're going to get one that quick is if a local dealer has one. I doubt many folks have one sitting on a shelf in their garage.

found one for 30 bucks in camp hill ALA. about an hour and a half from me. Looks like a road trip

nope not a dealer. Its willie`s salvage. a new one runs 75 bucks without shipping. He said i can have it to you by friday. And i said nope just put my name on it im coming to pick it up my self he laughed and said ride to live brother and i said is there anything else

the one he had was off an 02 so he looked it up and said it was the same and would work

I'm just dealing with that right now. A new one lists for $107.00 US. Ill try cleaning the posts first. let you know..

No fix for me. the bike still just buzzes (from the magnetic switch) when you hit the starter ... and ya, Ive been busy! I often read the posts but have nothing to add. But now, I have a spare switch if anyone needs one. Don't break my ass, BrokeAss.
