Jammin Leather

Has anyone ever bought anything from Jammin Leather in SC? I ordered a leather jacket from them almost 8 weeks ago. They told me 2-3 week back order originally, but still no leather jacket. The customer rep soft soaps each time I contact them, but still no jacket. I wonder if anyone has had any dealings with them. If anyone knows were one can buy a leather jacket that is both tall and big (60L), let me know.

Maybe they are waiting for the cow to grow some more? That's a B-I-G jacket.

I can say that because I am big as well. No offense meant. Just a little big & tall humor.

Ah, the lone gunman on the sandy knoll... Yeah, I am big. Even when I was a skinny 235 lbs, I wore a 50L, and normally, if I wasn't such a fat f---k, I would be around a 54L, which would put me at about 250-260lbs. I am not there...Just need to find another place to buy a jacket I guess.

I have bought some stuff from them. When we got it it was to small and we really didn't like the stuff so we sent it back. Returns were no problem they gave us credit as soon as they got the stuff back.

Since then I have bought all our leathers (jackets, chaps, vests, gloves, boots. from Chilhowee Leathers up in Oregon.

http://www.chilhowee.net/

They carry large sizes and there stuff is good quality. There customer service is excellent. I had a problem with a jacket, needed to send it back, they shipped one out before they received the other one so I would have it for a ride. Great people to deal with. I also got my tank bib from them, it is first class. Don't think you will go wrong with them.

I've bought some leather goods from Chilhowee, not clothing - but a tank bib and lever covers. They have excellent customer service and make a good quality product. I'd do business with them in a heartbeat.

When I was 21, I was 6'5 and a half. I am probably an inch shorter now.

I have heard good things about Chillowee, but I need tall as well. My torso is 3-4 inches longer and my arms are longer as well. With shirts, if I don't have a 39 sleeve, it'll shorten up over time and I have to roll it up. I called chillowee and they couldn't help.

The only other place I know that makes custom stuff for anyone is: http://www.stonelakeleatherworks.com/index.htm

It's a lot more money and I don't like the look, although I am sure it is heavy duty as he11. I really didn't want to spend quite that much.

As my dad would have put it "..that boy's big enough to hunt bear with a stick!" Gosh, and I thought I was difficult to fit. I won't complain about it again.

Well, I just got off the phone with them (again) and they said they will have it by the end of next week. Still, it's ridiculous.

I call one of my daughters "bear". She's only 10, and is already 5'3 and 130lbs. God help the man she marries, he better be right.

Sh1T! And only 10 year old?

My wife is only 5'-0" & 130 lbs! 3" shorter than a 10 year old!

You guys are gonna make her fell like a midget when we meet.

BTW, maybe I need to call Chillowee. I've got some "fitting" problems myself. I need a 48 jacket but with a short torso and long arms. As a compromise I wear a 50, but it's really too big. The arms are just right though...

The doctor says she'll be 6'1. I have another daughter that is 11 going on 12 and she is 5'6 and 120. My wife is 5'10. Sounds like you could go custom.
