nomad batteries

getting ready to purchase a new battery for my nomad. where is a good place to locate one and at a reasonable price.

Never had to get one for the nomad but ended up getting two for my magna. Advanced Auto was always the best deal for me. in stock and cheap

I found one for about $84 on batteryweb.com, but then a week after I ordered it there they told me it was on a 6 week back order. I ended up paying $120 + tax at the local dealer because I was tired of waiting.

Anyhow, their price was good, but if you order one there make sure it's in stock up front so you're not surprised like I was.

There is also Batteries USA that a lot of guys have good luck with.

A long lasting battery is Oddesa I think.. A dry cell battery... It costs but will last a very long time..

You mean the Odyssey. They make some really good Mil spec stuff.

I tried hard to buy one, but they don't make one with the physical dimensions of a Nomad battery. They make one for a Harley that will fit, because physically it is a lot smaller, but it's also less amp-hours than the Yuasa battery. I would have modified the battery carrier of my Nomad to get a larger (Electraglide type) one in, but I would also have to raise the seat, so it was just a lost cause.
