I made fender tips from a 1" flexible chrome strip purchased at the local Auto Zone store. The adhesive is very strong. I tried to pull the corner off to test the strength, and the fender started to bow out.

For less then $20, a sharp knife, and some fine sandpaper to smooth the cut edge, it looks pretty good.

Thanks Groundhog.

BTW - I ordered chrome side covers last week. I like the look on your bike.

Jon, Nice looking rad cover. Where did you find one that fit the 1600?

http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/de...oduct_ID=17366

Cruisercustomizing had it. It fit perfectly. A 10 minute install.

There needs to be a at the end. You can take any picture on any webpage , go to it's properties and copy the Address URL. Paste it in your message. Then add the to the back. you're set!

OK my tips didn't show, but in your original message you had IMG in brackets and a /IMG in brackets. What photobucket does is put the img inbrackets in the front of the picture link URL and the /IMG in brackets at the end of the link (no spaces)

Put a chrome radiator cover on my bike

Hi, this is Jan from the Netherlands. I let my O.E.M. cover chromed at a local chromeshop.

Here by is the result! In my opinion a very sharp result for half the costs of a aftermarket cover.
