Hey coacha

Well, the interview went well but not well enough because they hired someone else. It is a long story, full of BS politics and some questionable (in my eyes as well as some of my coworkers) ethics in regards to replacing me in my current positions (dean and head football coach). Those things were contributing factors.

Hey, I've been passed over enough times that my feelings aren't hurt, it is just a fact of life in the system. Took 4 tries to get the head football job and 3 for the dean position. I figure, next time the AD job comes open, it will be #3 for me, so it will be mine.

Thanks for remembering and asking. I was hoping to get it because it would free up my weekends in the fall for more rides :) So was Tammy!

Hey coacha

I appreciate the thoughts. I will be the good solider, as always, and do the job that I have to the best of my ability and not worry about the what could have beens.

My mom always told me that someone has to win, someone has to lose. I think of it as getting a silver medal. Bless her heart, I miss her when things like this happen.
