You been busy.

I haven't even started taking stuff off my 2000 1500 FI.

The one thing I'm swapping over to the 1600 is the inner chrome engine cover. (K53020-196) That'll save me $160

But Chuck you have to remember, I had to get all this stuff off so Liz could go trade for that new Nomad this weekend, weather permitting. Then I will have to get all her stuff put on the 1600 so the first good weather she can get the bike broke in. The first thing I got to get done is put her 12V power points on the bike so if she can use her electric gloves and vest if she needs to.

Okay stupid question. My bike is running good now and is carbed. Putting on the K/N filter and getting more air would mess with that right. Or can I put it on without a rejet? Thanks, I'm used to the Fi.

I have not run into this question before. You will get more air through the K & N than a paper filter. Will it affect you carbed bike, I don't know. The computer on the FI bike will correct the fuel settings for the additional air with out a problem.

On the volusia (carbed) you needed to rejet.
