They aren't really adjustable but most people think they fit fine. They pull off in less than one second and take about 2 seconds to put back in if you have trouble finding the hole.
Tounge in groove type thing. One piece mounts solid and the backrest slides in & out. I know the way this sounds and I appologize in advance if anyone is offended ![]() Login or Register to Remove Ads |

You look tall in your pic like me. I just step over my seat rather than swinging my leg over the top. My wife can get on just fine too with the backrest on so I never even take it off. My backrest from grasshopper stays on all the time.

When my wife mounts she's well above the backrest when she steps up on the floor board. I think she swings her leg behind my backrest and kinda squats and sits as her other foot lands on the other floor board

Man....listening to you two for a second...I thought I was in the wrong "Forum"!!! LOL!
Sancho... there are a lot of us on here that have Grasshopper's back rest and love it. It really is a simple design that works well and you can't beat the price. I'm sure you'll be able to read up on all the threads Wolfman posted. Anyway...my wife doesn't have any problems getting on/off with the back rest on, but like Wolfie said, it's such an easy design you can slide it out if she needs to.... oh wait.... now I'm sounding like you two!!! UGH!!! LOL! Nico...Dakals....where are you two??? Here's a thread that should be right up y'all ally!!! LOL! |

I haven't used the grasshopper backrest, but it may have worked fine for me had I tried it, but I already had another one.
First I had one that didn't fold down, or pull out. My wife hated it and for her, it made it difficult to get on and off. I then got a CWI one that folds. If I did have grasshopper's, I'd be pulling it out for my wife to get on and off. |

I don't know about all you old geezers and your backrests.
![]() When I'm riding, I'm riding. It's about the most exercise I get these days. ::) Do I really want to "rest"? |
