Thanks for the comments everyone, its great to get praise from people who themselves have some great bikes. I will answer a few questions, the Calliper Covers are Custom World International 02-2945 bought from Cruiser Customising, takes a minute to fit. The Top Rails, as spotted, fit using the two main saddle bag mouting bolts and dont have any fixings thru the top of the bags. I bought them from the Kaw dealer as genuine Kawasaki parts, didnt know at the time that they were any different from others. For anyone who is interested in the center stand, have a look here for details.

I am an engineer and decided that however hard it would be I wanted a center stand. When I read messages saying that it was not possible to fit a center stand to the Nomad, it made me more determined to do it. The design evolved as the job progressed, fit, measure, construct, remove and fit again, untill the job was complete. The design is dependant on having removed the goats bladder as it fits in the space it once occupied. Like all designs, if I did the job again I could improve upon it, make it easier to construct, lighter/cheaper, its easy once you see a finished working item to brainstorm mods, not so easy starting from scratch. The important thing is, if you want it, it can be done. It has certainly been extremely useful for me.

phot, I can imagine how you built the center stand, Kawi gave us those convenient frame tabs predrilled for stuff like that. Not many people use them for anything. Very nice job.
