Sounds like a sport bike owner that can't handle a bigger bike. I must be an amateur because I wear a half helmet even though I've been riding for 40 years.

+3. I don't get it. Most of this article is about one persons opinion, not facts. He complains about how much money they cost. Really? If they cost to much, you don't want it enough or simply can't afford it. That's his issue, not everyone else's. He complains about color.....and that bolting parts on you won't get your money back on it. Guess what, that's true for more than just baggers?? He says it takes an "Expert Rider" and that if your not riding with the kind of gear meet "his" standards, it must be a rookie rider.

Sounds like he has an axe to grind. Oh wait, someone already said that.

Ya I really think this guy just cant afford the bike he really wants . obviously a bigger heavier machine will not stop as quick as a smaller one ? and will go though more tires ,but are the bagger bikes not designed for the more weight that we have put on them and is not why manufacturers are building them with a little bigger motor and better braking ie: ABS ?

What to Hell was that crap?? I will say the most common reason someone doesn't like a certain Cruiser style bike is because they can't afford it. Their foolish pride just won't allow them to admit it. Basic premise of the story was I don't have the $$$$.

I read through it better (first time was on my phone) and it's nothing but pure, unadulterated bulls**t!

Nobody in their right mind would advocate using a Sportster as a bagger.
