It's about $750 euro, that's probably why.

A shield with a vent and capability to be adjusted on the fly, I would be willing to shell out $750Euro. I believe it's worth the investment, so would many other riders..

An electrically operated windscreen is worth that kind of money, IMHO. 1/2 way up when you start out on cool mornings, down a bit as it warms up, all the way up if it starts to rain. There are a few bikes out there with stock e-screens like the BMW K1600 and the Victory Vision.

I wasn't willing to put 750 Euros into a windshield for my GL1800, I darn sure wouldn't pay that kind of money to put one on my Vaquero. For that matter, in many years of riding Goldwings I've never met a GL1800 rider who did, guess that's not a common mod.

Don't knock it until you try it.

My wife's Spyder has an electric adjustable windshield. It is also available on the new Indian Chieftain. I use a Baggershield on my Voyager when it's really hot. Normally I use a clearview with a vent.

I take my windshield off for the summer. I'll probably put it back on when it is around 45 F in the morning or when the highs are in the low 60's.

The buffeting is horrendous without a shield. I ride with open face helmet only and without at least 9" shield wind makes it unridable.

I have wondered the same thing, not necessarily this particular windshield, just a windshield in general for the Vaquero. I'm not a batwing / fairing kind of guy. But I do love the look of the Vaquero except for that. Especially the satin black like in the video below: It's bad to the bone. I would sell my beloved '06 and get one, in a heart beat. To me, it's the next generation Nomad. If only.....
