Corbin Seat

Finally got the new Corbin seat on the Vaq....took almost 3 weeks to get it but being they are built custom to order, takes a little longer. Haven't tried it yet as we are getting pummeled with severe thunder storms lately, but Saturday will go out for a ride. I will report later on the comfort. Sitting on the seat has already revealed that it sits lower and back more, yielding a little more leg room.

Pin stripes on the bags, fairing and tank....looks better when you see it in person.

Which seat did you get - Young Guns? I was thinking about that one. I need to set more back and up. I'm 6'-6" and need more leg room. I'll be interested to hear your comments on the new seat!

Yes it is the dual tour. It does have a nice pillion rivaling that of the Mustang one. This new Corbin for the rider, sits back a little further and lower, making more leg room. Randog that could make this one work better for you at your height. You go to their website to order, and you can custom "build" the seat on the site. They even ask you for your weight and height, and leg inseam length. No one I know of does that to this degree. The finish is real leather and second to none in quality.

Maybe they could add some foam so I sit higher too. I have head good things about their seats. I would get the Young Gun as I do solo riding. Post or pic of your new seat!

I am a little over an hour away from the west coast Corbin store. I had the saddle made to my liking. They said if it needs to be changed there is a one time free alteration providing the cover doesn't have to be changed. At least that was the way it was. I went back over a year latter and they made a change for no charge.

Made an appointment, rode in and it was done while I waited.

If you'r up to the ride, and close enough, you can ride in and watch them make your saddle while you wait. You will ride out on it the same day and they will ship your old saddle home for you.

Really great customer service!!!!!

Randog I posted two pics of the new Corbin on my bike above...2012 green and black S.E.
Like Snake Ranch said, the best customer service on the planet...you should look into it although be prepared to spend a little more $$ for the best seat, but worth it!

Thanks. If I had more time I could ride up but it would be an overnight stay as I live on So Cal. I have heard their service is really great. Enjoy the new seat.

Thanks. I don't mind spending the money for quality and if I get a little more leg room!

You will get a little more leg room with the Corbin and I found that the reach to the bars is even a bit longer too!

Russell Day Long asks those questions and what your weight is and what the passenger weighs and also requests photos of you on the bike.
