The makers of bats must be forced to put serial numbers on every bat. Every purchaser must pass a backgound check, prove that they have a need, get a license from the government to own one, register it and keep it in a locked bat safe when not being used! ! ! ! !

Interesting link... thanks. Seems there were also more murders by hands and feet in 2011 than Rifles and Shotguns combined... Err.. I mean Assault Hands and Feet.

Looking at the .gov websites linked in that article, it's interesting to note that OVERALL homicide numbers have been decreasing while the number of gun owners has been increasing, just sayin'... One table shows 2005-2009, with a steady decrease evident in "total firearm" murders and overall murders, then the 2011 link shows even less.

Interesting...

BTW, where can I get one of those customized "sporting apparatus"?

I just read today that this Dec, was the busiest month ever for gun sales in the U.S., 2.8 million new applications.
