Now that the temps here in Tucson are in the three digits, I have noticed my nomads been making a whistling sound coming from the gas cap. How is the pressure in the tank released when exposed to the summer heat? Or is it time for new gas cap?

That whistling is a normal trait of the Nomad, nothing wrong there.

The whistling is pressure being released. Nothing to worry about.

The whistling doesn't bother me at all, its the bike saying "ride me".

Yea, nothing to worry about. It's just your bike saying, "hey, don't put me up yet. We need to keep going!"

Either that or it's saying "Hey sexy, come over here and ride me like a real man!"
