front fenders classic nomad

Aren't the fenders or for that matter the whole font end the same on a classic as it is on a nomad ? I just ran part#'s on the lower front forks and it is the same, what about fenders ? reason I ask is, I cannot figure out why MC enterprises makes two different fender rails and they say the classic dont fit the nomad.

There was a thread on here just the other week about someone wanting to use a Classic fender on a Nomad. They look the same, but I think it was determined they are different part #s, maybe width?

That just seems crazy Kawasaki would change it, the lower forks are the same so has to be same width there. part# I expect to be different due to paint colors, the first part of the part #'s are the same. maybe someone will confirm there is a difference.

The forks may be the same but the tree's which determine the width may not be.

Is one fender rail better looking than the other, or is there a difference in price, or something?

I remember that thread too... After the search & research, I believe it was the width that was different between the two.

Big difference in price, and one is taller looking being the ( nomad ) classic is lower

Ok, just ran across this on another forum :

Guy had the same question I had, and he took a chance and ordered the classic rail. the following is what he said about it.

Well, the trim came a few weeks ago, and does not fit. The holes lined up fine, but the front of the tirm fell a good inch short of the front tip of the fender. At this point, I'll return it for the trim spec'd for the noamd.
