New on here.

I have had my 2004 nomad for about a month now. I bought a 2005 Suzuki Boulevard C50 last year which I love….. Very comfortable bike but it just didn’t seem to have the power that I felt I need for my wife and I to take long trips especially in the mountains. I have already put my own personal touches on the nomad and both my wife and I we just love it. Before the Suzuki I was running around town on a moped for about 4 years. I was trying to fulfill the urge to ride…it worked for a while. In 1985 I was in a bad motorcycle accident and I have not owned a bike until I got the moped a few years back. I didn’t let my family know that I got a bike since they would be scared for me and remember that they had almost lost me once before. I pray that it will not happen again. Lets ride!!!

Welcome from Montreal Quebec. I think you will find this forum not only a great place for info on the Nomad, but a great place to hang out and interact with others who have the same bike and passion.

welcome "minman", from Langley, BC, Canada.
Sorry to hear you had an accident. It sounds like it was a serious one.
A few of us have had "run-ins" with the pavement, autos and animals. Some more serious than others. But to my knowledge we have all been able to climb back in the saddle, thank God. I know after my first accident my family {especially "judygirl"} didn't like the idea of me getting another bike, but they knew I had a passion and it was something I needed to do.
Take care and expect the unexpected.
