Front wheel bearings on my 2003 Nomad, is it left or right to be removed first?
I can't find a service manual for my bike so that's why I am asking this as my bike is with my mechanic and I've printed off both sets of instructions on how to do this from the '98-'01 and the 1600 service manuals and given them to him but he says neither is helpful!
Hopefully someone on here will know the answer?

One side has a circlip, the other side doesn't. I think I replaced the side with the circlip first. I don't think it really matters anyways, but make sure the spacers go on the correct side of the wheel as they are different. The manual should be all you need to assemble the wheel.

Not sure if you are using a specific tool, but it really won't matter if your using a slide hammer or a punch.

Caddyman, is that you in your avatar?
The reason I ask is I saw an advertisement for something, I don't remember what, but the guy in your avatar was in it and he had a phone just like yours. ![]()

I am actually in both of the photos uploaded in my albums, although believe me it wasn't for reasons of vanity I can assure you, more laziness as they were the easiest ones to load at the time! ![]()
