Good News for BnG

The local Kawasaki dealer advised me today that my Nomad will not be salvaged, I still won't get it back for 2 or 3 weeks, but it will be fixed and ready for the highway again.
"Repair" is just a matter of replacement of parts.

I saw the parts order list. The right and left hard bags have seperate part numbers. Each hard bag costs a bit over $1100.00! Somebody is getting rich, and it ain't the biker, that's for sure.

Glad to hear you will be getting the Nomad back. I know you have missed it. Yes those bags are very expensive. Not to mention that mirrors, crash bars and everything else is expensive.

That is good news! 2-3 weeks seems like a long time but I'm sure that is faster than you would find a replacement, plus you have the Drifter to keep you occupied until BnG comes home.
