Brake Job

Need some help guys. I did a rear brake job a couple years back and now I need the front. I'm going to do it myself as I did the back easily. My question is I don't recall when sanding the rotors with emery cloth do you go 1. circular both sides OR 2. cross grain from axle outward both sides. Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks

Dennis

Only about 15,000 miles on front. But only about 10,000 on rear. Mostly city driving.

The front brakes should be easier than doing the rear. Let us know how it goes.

I just replaced my rear pads at 31K on my 2007. They were badly worn to metal. I purchased front pads, but did not put them on as the front still were in good shape.

I had 37,000 kms on my rear pads when I replaced them. The fronts were the originals and had 60,000 kms on them when I sold the bike. Still almost like new.
