25 Days on the Road

We left home (Lacombe Alberta Canada) on March 19 2011 and returned home on April 18 2011. We trailered our Nomad and trailer to St. George Utah and started our ride from there. We rode in Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, back to California and then back to St. George. Some of our best riding was in the Texas hill country. We rode the three sisters, 335, 336, and 337. This was the third year that we have ridden the southern states and plan to continue doing so. Awesome ride.

Sounds like you had a really great trip. The Texas Hill Country is some of the best riding you can do. Bet it was beautiful this time of year.

It's well worth a trip there Bill. Beautiful and very well kept roads. The locals in the area are great. You might even meet up with that old man Skeeter. He's a very good guide in the Hill Country.

Sounds like you had an awesome time. It is nice to hear about a couple getting away together to enjoy time away from home. Kudos

25 Days on the Road

We just rode the three sisters this past weekend. I guess we are spoiled and didn't even know it since we are so close. They are re-paving part of 336. Weather was great; temp. 83°F and low humidity. Lots of bikes out, but only saw one Nomad near Vanderpool.
