New South Central Rider (maybe)

A buddy at work is going to Louisiana this weekend and hopefully will be bringing back a 2000 blue/silver 1500 with fuel injection. It has 40,000 miles on it and looks to be in good condition. I talked to the owner by email and he wasn't familiar with KAWANOW. I'll have him (mandatory) sign up on the forum and be a member of the south central group if he gets it.

A bunch of us are leaving work at 0945 in the morning to ride bikes to Vicksburg and look at the flood waters, eat and come back.

I really don't know. A guy with us mentioned a BBQ place but I don't even know the name of it. We were leaving at 0945 but not sure if we were taking back roads or running I-20. I told them to plan it and I'll tag along.

We originally were going to just take a long lunch and go up the Natchez Trace to River Bend and cook steaks on a grill. Some didn't want to cook so thats how we wound up going to Vicksburg. Maybe we can all do a Trace run toward Nashville sometime this summer.

Bobby, my friend, we need to crown you chief south central recruiter. You are really beating the bushes. As for a bar b que place in V'burg, Goldies has good stuff. Just a suggestion. Make Jim buy !!
