Meet and greet in Starkville MS

Fatrat45 and a few of his friends and I are going to meet in Starkville MS this Saturday 5/21 unless the weather is going to be bad I will post here on Wednesday what the weather is going to be. Are there any other SCR or NER folks want to join us? How about it Jamie,Bobby,Sas, Bp, Mitch, Frank and all others?

What time are you planning on and what location in Starkville. I worked for MSU while I was in the Army. I was actually at Meridian Junior College doing ROTC training. We had to go up to Starkville like once a month as that was our headquarters. Let me know. Maybe I can get away if the weather is nice. They are predicting about 85 with a 20% chance of rain.

Gene I was thinking about Oby's but any where is ok I know Starkville pretty good as my 2 youngest boys went to Mississippi State for a total of 12 years.

Jim, it looks like just over 200 miles and about 3.5 hours maybe a little longer. Sure hope I will be able to make it.

Ouch! BP and I just got back from the KVRF Spring Fling Sunday evening late and we're having our GWRRA MS-M Fun Day event a bit west of McComb the 21st. Would love to have been able to ride 25 up to Starkville but commitments are commitments. Keep us posted on anything else that may pop up, please Jim! We'll try our best to make other rides with you guys.

Jim, I'd love to make it up to Starksville but I more than likely won't be able to make it happen. It would be a 6 - 7 hour ride requiring me to stay the night. With the situation we are in at the plant, I really can't venture that far away. Hope you all have a great meet and ride safely. Thanks.

Like sas and Mitch, I too have a prior commitment this weekend. Otherwise, I would not hesitate to go. As sas said, please keep me posted in any other future rides. It would be great to see you guys again.

Jim, my wife has been sick for over a week but if she thinks she will be okay for me to be gone for the day I will leave around 7:30 in the morning. If I don't show up it will be because she got worse.

Getting ready to leave to go have a meet & greet with some of the South Eastern group, there is only a 100% chance of rain hey the weather man got it right it is raining.

I got back home at 4:30 had a great time met some real nice folks had some good food and a great day for riding 272 miles round trip.

sas you know that i have CRS so I didn't remember the camera until I was on the bike getting ready to leave :'( I met with alabamanomadrider and fatrat45 and 4 of his riding buddys and there wives a great bunch of folks.
