tire pressures
Ok gang well up here in the great white north it is soon riding season (been out 3 times but snow showers today :( ) Question i have is i put on a set of dunlops 2 years ago and now finding that the front tires is starting to get choppy after about 10,000km like the brigdstones that where on the bike previously. I am wondering what ppl out there are running for tire pressures. I hardly ever run interstates and 2 up ride 40% of the time. As for passenger weight wife is not very big 130lbs or so.
The other question i had was what seats are you guys running out there i thought my seat was comfortable till i rode my buddies vtx with a aftermarket seat! what a difference! Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Front 40, Rear 42 but wife and I are not small people ;) As far as seats, there are a number of threads on the board that address this issue. Short answer: Mustangs are popular, Ultimates, big money for Russel Day-Long or you may be able to get a local upholstery shop to rework yours with memory foam for 1/2 what you'd pay for an after market one.
I have a reworked seat on mine, cost was $125 for front and rear. Put about 55K with it in this configuration and will probably not do anything else.

Some run there PSI as high as 50lbs, but most are right around 40.
Like Coach said, lots of seat options for the Nomad. I have owned three mustang seats and they fit me well.

41 frt and 42 rr. I had my seat re-worked locally for less than half the price of aftermarket seat.

I like the Dunlop D404's & Cruisemax, because they come in whitewalls. I run them at 42lbs.
Now I have a cartire on the rear, but still use a D404 on the front.

Usually 2 psi lbs over max on side of tires - Mustang seat, progressive rear shocks @ 55 - 65 lbs
