Two years later to the day...

While not discounting the losses from the fires for the residents in Texas I do wonder where Gov. Perry stands on his call for secesion now.

"I believe that our federal government has become oppressive in its size, its intrusion into the lives of our citizens, and its interference with the affairs of our state," Gov. Perry said.

Amen to that!

And the feds should help, either that or give up all the taxes they collect.

With the way the federal government is going maybe all the states should secede.
