5-21-2011 Meet and Greet at Starkville, MS (Pics)

Had a good ride over to starkville, MS for a meet and greet at The Little Dooey which is a bar-b-que restaurant. I got there about 12:15 PM after riding since 7:22 AM and Jim Hardin had been in Starkville since about 11:00 AM. He was at the restaurant when I arrived. We talked about the ride and the Nomads. Waited until 12:45 PM and Randy May (Fatrat45) and his riding friends from Tuscaloosa, AL showed up. We chatted a bit and then went in for some great food. Stayed until 2:30 PM or at least Jim and I did then Jim said he needed to go and I told him I needed to do the same. Jim was facing a 132 mile ride home and I was looking at 220. The guys from Tuscaloosa were only looking at about 90 miles. They were still in the restaurant when Jim and I mounted our steads and headed our separate ways. It was an enjoyable ride and meet and greet. Glad I finally got to meet Jim. Corrected the date in subject line and departure time for Jim and myself. Sorry about the errors. I didn't realize just how much the trip took out of me.

I must have been more tired than I realized. Date was 5-21-2011 and Jim and I departed at 2:30 PM. Sorry about that. Will try to post the pictures of Jim and my bike parked outside. Took one picture of Jim and two or three of our bikes.

glad all made it home safe. we had a great time , good food, good friends and good conversation. all is good. glad to meet Jim and to see Gene again. always good to put faces with names. hope to see you all again in June in Maggie Valley.

I will try and get them posted CheriAnn. Only a couple anyway. Took pictures of Jim's and my bike and took a picture of Jim. Not sure the SD card could handle Jim or not. I will have to make sure it didn't melt.

Gene you might want to have that camera checked there is some thing wrong with the lens it made me look fat.

Don't worry, a camera automatically puts at least an extra 35 lbs on a person. At least it does for me! ;-)

People kept asking for pictures, I knew they would be disappointed.

Jim and I are about the same age and we just can't take a good picture. ;)
