Preferred highway pegs
Tried doing a search on this and came up with nada.
Now that my mechanical woes are behind me it's time to start working on some creature comforts. Put on a Vistacruise today so I'll be able to shake my hand out when it inevitably falls asleep on me. Looking for some highway pegs next. Anybody with a preference I would appreciate knowing what it is, and what you like about it/them. Started looking around and was at least a little surprised at how much they cost. Seems like $150+ is the going rate for anything that looks decent. I don't remember paying that much for my last ones, but that was 20 years ago. Again..........any input would be appreciated. I've got pretty short legs so I'll probably need to go with an offset. When seated normally my feet just barely make it to the crashbar. You can see how short the old stumps are here. ![]() Thanks Love this thing. Had one on my old bike and it was a lifesaver. Not the prettiest accessory in the world, but real funtional. Huge fan of the cruise control. ![]()

Have the same problem I used the Longhorn offsets I still have to adjust them some but I can either get my legs straight or rest heel on floorboard and put the ball of my foot on them. I will try to see if I can find where I got mine I think about 100 bucks

I agree with nomadtom69. I have those on my bike and they are so comfortable and make a big difference on long trips. I hardly ever use the floorboards (except while driving in the city).

I just bought a set of the Longhorn's myself. As soon as they arrive and I have a chance to test them out, I will let you know how or if I like them.

Kuryakyn Longhorn Dually Offset pegs for me. Very nice and you can adjust them in many different ways.

I put on the Kuryakyn's. I have short legs as well and these work real well for me. They are about $143.

I have short legs so I have Kuryakyn Longhorn Dually offsets adjusted so I can rest my heel on the running boards and the balls of my feet on the pegs. This position feels similar to forward controls. I like them better than the o-ring type peg or Iso peg.
