2 ounces per tire is what the Dynabeads website says.

What I don't understand about these beads is if they are that good, why are they not OEM?

Probably because Kawasaki doesn't want the liability of not having wheel weights on the rims. Plus it would take longer most likely to install the beads. just guessing. Why don't all the car makers put them in their cars?
I have them in all of my vehicles and the ride is smooth, good even tire wear and better handling. I had a set of new tires put on one of my cars and it had a vibration at about 60 MPH. I bought the beads put them in the tires and the vibration was gone, none at all, even a much smoother ride. Next day I ordered beads for all my vehicles. Will keep using them every time I change tires.

I was wondering about that. My car has the pressure sensor inside the wheels. (I believe all new cars are now required to have these sensors.)
Do you think the beads would damage them?

You probably right about the legal aspect.

Dinabead question

It's amazing what you can find on the product manufacturer's website.

From the innovativebalancing.com FAQ page:

"Can I use your product with my Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)?

Most TPMS sensors that thread onto the valve stem, such as the Pressure Pro, will require a filtered valve core.

Note: If your wheels have a TPMS system that is an integral part of the valve stem, Dyna Beads will not cause any problems, but you won't be able to install the beads using the Applicator. See examples here"

Actually, I wonder if they are referring to an aftermarket TPMS system, such as the type that screws on the valve stem externally in place of a cap and registers the pressure on a small receiver, like a key fob? The answer in the FAQ doesn't say.

Dinabead question

Op you should check the tire once it is mounted before you do another thing. It's ok if you just dump in beads, but you might not have too.

On my 06 Nad, I forgot and did simply dump the beads in. I was all hot and bothered about testing my new at the time CT.

Later when I did my new ft tire I took the extra moment to check ballance with 2 jack stands a couple blocks of wood 2 bungie cords the axel and the wheel with the tire mounted.

By spinning the wheel and waiting for it to stop several times marking the 12:00 each time this tire developed a total randon stop pattern. No beads or weights required. I still have the beads in a bag ................... waiting.

I have the pressure sensors on 2 of my cars and it doesn't seem to affect them at all. In fact the other day my wife came home and said the tire sensor had come on, I check the pressure and it was low put in some air and the light goes off. so no I don't
think they will hurt the sensors.

However, don't use any of the Green Slime or the instant tire fixer stuff as they will stop the beads from rotating in the tire.
