For the money, they probably aren't too bad, but I wouldn't have my expectations too high.

I helped a friend install something like this on his 1500 Classic a couple of years ago. They are better than nothing, but are not real convenient to use. Wiring them up is a PITA, too. Speaker cables had RCA jacks, which means they are difficult to route through narrow gaps, etc. He said they sounded okay up to about 60 MPH, then too much volume caused distortion and too much wind noise drowned them out. Also, the speaker cables wouldn't reach from his bars to the back of his tank, he had to run to Best Buy and get longer cables.

You will find with anything but stock pipes your sound enjoyment will be marginal at best
If I could do it over I would run a blue tooth unit and a scala rider setup
just my input since I did a nice headunit and 4 good 51/4 speakers and the bagger duels drown it right out

My 01 Nomad had something like that. i checked them out the day I bought the bike and never used them again. What Cj says is typical of this sort of speaker system.

The Sony unit that I installed in the fairing sounds ok up to about 70mph with the 5 1/4" speakers. I wish it had a little more power for the long interstate rides but its not too bad for most times on the road.

Like Ringadingh, I don't really have the problem with my V&H pipes drowning out the music up to 70mph except when I am really on it but no problem cruising. My friend has a similar handlebar setup with better speakers and you really don't get much out of them.
