Joined the board a couple of days ago but still a little skeptical. I hope your replies will help. I currently ride a VTX 1300 and a buddy is on a Nomad 1500. I have always liked the Nomad and found one I might pick up. It seems to me that there aren't many accessories for the bike. Am I looking in the wrong places? Any help is appreciated so I can make a good decision.

Welcome from the great Pacific NW. You can find a lot of things to spruce up a Nomad....some easy....some not so much....but people here can and will help in every way possible!! The Nomad is a GREAT ride....so don't be afraid to take the plunge....you won't regret it in the least.

Welcome from Ontario, there are actually quite a few accessories available for the 1500, its the 1600's that have a lesser amount available.
What particular accessories are you looking for?

Welcome from the swamps of Louisiana.The Nomad comes very well equipped.The only thing I can't find is a rear fender rack.

There are many accessories available for the 1500.
I have a list of about $3500 worth on my bike, and that is with me installing all of them. If we can't find what we want someone on this site has probably made one themselves and will share their design.
IMO the Nomad is the greatest cruiser/bagger manufactured.

Welcome from Alabama, The Heart of Dixie. My last bike was a 2007 VTX 1300R. Great bike but it doesn't compare to the 2008 Nomad. Trust me, I know.

WOW!!!...I am a member of the VTXOA board and didn't get a welcome like this. Thanks to all. I am looking forward to owning this bike. The ride, in my opinion, is so much better than the VTX.
