Playing off global warming fears is the new way to make billions and govts to spend my $$$s "researching" it.

I have no doubt that the climate is changing. Long term climate has never been a static system and never will be. But, man caused climate change? I think one has to be rather conceded to think man can do such, or change such or stop such.

I know in 50 years north Alabama has changed. We have hot weather that lasts longer than it did. We hardly ever have snow in the winter and when I was a boy we had at least one good snow each winter. I don't know what caused it but by gosh, something has.

I dont think anyone is denying the earth climate is changing... and guess what... its still changing as it has done throughout its entire history.... Ice ages come and it gets cold, Ice ages end and it warms.... that is a proven fact.
Some people are out to make a profit from trying to say its never done this before. The earth is doing what it has always done and will continue to do (with or without us) is what the problem is.

Couple million or so years ago, the Sahara was a lush tropical jungle.... Couple thousand years ago there was a Sea splitting the United States.... etc etc etc.
The earth changes, it gets closer to thte sun, it angles away from the sun, the sun has sun spots then it doesnt... we live on an ever changing planet.... and the few that think we are gods to control what it does are idiots.

For us to say in our 50-70 year life span OMG its warmer/colder than I remember and take the fact that Ice ages and warm periods take eons to cycle thru from one to another.... is sort of egotisticle and an extremely ignorant view, IMHO.

This is a great example of "follow the money". We have an emergency. The earth is warming. We can save you. Carbon credits are the answer. Oh, by the way, The Chicago carbon credit exchange is set and ready to go. Guess who is a major investor in the Chicago carbon credit exchange . . . why our old buddy Al Gore. Lesson over.

Eco-terrorism (and the climate-change-the-sky-is-falling bunch) is utter arrogant foolishness, for all the reasons you all have so clearly stated. If you want to really see a climate change, check out Second Peter 3 in the Bible. THAT will be a sudden climate change!
