Grand Finale

Hello neighbours,

After two road trips, many day rides and 17K km, I parked my Nomad for the winter. A thread is active on our east cost and I posted some pics there.

Cheers,

E.

Rick,

Good to hear from you. How're you doing? When is the surgery, did you restore the Nomad?

Cheers,

E.

I could ride but I have a cold for the past 10 days..so no point getting sicker. Besides, its only getting up to +5 during the day. I am looking forward to shutting down for the winter because I have some big plans for the Nomad this winter in the shop. I'm doing a total makeover from front to back, hence I will probably have some goodies for sale this year...John

John,
Of course I'm curious as to what your plans are but also interested in what you might be getting rid of. Let me know first!! before you post it.
Thanks. Get well soon BTW

Hi Elvis,
I'm doing alright. Staying busy. Still off work and waiting for the surgery, Nov. 18th. Not looking fwd. to that though. If I didn't have to go back to work I wouldn't have the surgery I don't think. But if I head back without it, there could be issues if it gets worse. I'm just not at the point where it would be viable to take the pension yet. 3 more years to go.
How are things with you?? I haven't heard from "hammer" in a long time. Have you?? Last time I spoke with him he said he was busy with his strata complex and a roofing project.

Sounds like something is cooking up there.

John, I'd be interested in your rear fender luggage rack, if you're gonna get red of it.

Get well soon.

Elvis..not sure what rack you saw...I have three of them. I will call you Rick. Not going to get rid of anything yet..should be in Jan or Feb.. Here's a hint..just picked up a good supply of brass, copper and billet. Another hint..every piece made will have a combination of all three included...now thats enough clues for now...John

John,

Hope you're feeling better. We also had our first snow fall down here, north shore mountains looks gorgeous with that white stuff.

If you have three racks, I'd be interested in seeing the ones that you no longer need or want.

If memory serves me well, you work in Ft. McMurray which is where I'm sent once or twice a year. We could perhaps try meeting sometime in 2011 and have a beer or two.

Cheers,

E.

Rick,

We all get carried away with things in our lives without realizing how fast the time goes. I'm trying to keep work and home on the even keel and looking forward to the x'mas break.

Best of luck with your surgery.

E.

SNOW !!! Up the mountains I hope. Nothing even close to snow here in the Fraser Valley.
Thanks for the "good luck" wishes. I can't help feeling a little nervous about the whole thing.
