Damn........Something similar happened here in West TN a few years back. Lawsuits flying against the driver of the vehicle for not being able to maintain control and against the city where it happened for not roping off to keep crowds back incase someone lost control.

Its not much fun when people get killed, but how dumb to you have to be to stand at the edge of a race track like that.

No doubt that this is tragic. I feel for the families and friends of those killed and injured.

You can see the same sort of thing in the Rally car races. People standing right on the edge of the course with no safe guards at all as the cars go past within feet of the spectators.
