I'm working from home today, and I'm here at my desk and I start to realize I'm sweating. Our air conditioning is not working! The a/c is blowing room temperature air. I hope I can get someone here ASAP.

94 in the house now. Looks like we might get a monsoon storm this evening to cool things down some.

CJ, that sux. nothing is worse than AZ without AC.

They'll be out this afternoon to fix it. I think it's just the capacitor that starts the compressor that failed.

Did that program last August, crapped out on a Saturday afternoon on one of the 110 degree days.. Got the tech out Monday, no one could get here earlier. We survived one day in the house, then hid out at the neighbors for the next night.

Was the capacitor.

Airconditioning is your friend in this part of the country.

Side note, neighbor is 78, and this is the first house she owned with air conditioning. She lived here all her life and did without air until she was 68.

I can't even imagine that. I wouldn't live here if there was no a/c. We're leaving town Thursday morning for a few days so I need to get this fixed ASAP.

The a/c guy just left. It was the capacitor that blew its top. It's already down to 90° in the house now.

Hey Scott, come to our office. In the infinate wisdom of the higher ups, they decided this was a good time of year to redo the HVAC system in the office. No AC for 3 weeks.
