Texas Riders is there a Chuck Burt Run this Year

Just wondering if you guys are planning a Chuck Burt Memorial Ride this year. I made it last year and if you do have one I can start making plans for another one. Since my daughter lives in Texas I could plan a trip to see her as I did last year.

You could make the Hill Country Run. I think that is close to where your daughter lives.

You know Al, I feel that I should be in the South Central rather than the South East. I lived in Mississippi, Louisiana and have spent much time in Texas. Maybe I will be able to set something up. I am getting the itch to ride back out to Texas again. If I do it will be my third trip out in three years.

Gene, we're kicking around the date over on Texas VROC. Looks like July 24th is the best date for most right now. Like last year .. meet early for breakfast maybe in Johnson City .. ride to Luckenbach, then perhaps lunch later in Fredericksburg.

Thanks McDaddy for the update. I sure hope I will be able to make it out to Texas again this year. I really enjoyed the fellowhip we had. The trip last year put just over 2,000 miles on my new at the time Nomad. It purred like a kitten all the way. Hope to see you guys again this year.

Thanks for the invite Woodster but my daughter lives in Killeen and I would be staying with her. That is what I did last year rode over from Alabama and spent time with her then rode over early the day of the Memorial Run. Had a great time and visit with the Texas riders. Really a great bunch of guys. Once again thank you for the invite.

Thanks for posting the song and the video. I sure wish things had worked out so I could have ridden with you guys again this year. Had a lot going on here and just couldn't squeeze the ride in. Maybe I will be able to make the third anniversary one next year. At least I was able to make the secon anniversary ride. Once again, thanks McDaddy for posting.
