Looking for some electric brake help!

I just bought a new Chevy truck and I removed the electric trailer brake controller off of my old truck.
Now I didn't have the forethought to check out the wiring.. :-[

Does anyone know what the wiring is on the "Powerstop" brake controller is?
I've tried everything I could to hunt it down on the internet but haven't had any luck... so here I am!
If by chance anyone knows what is is please e-mail me directions at.. mikeniezn@att.net... thanks...

Looking for some electric brake help!

Don't those just operate off the brake light circuit?

Have you checked the instructions here? http://www.powerstopusa.com/instructions.php

I know youll need to run a power wire from the battery to the trailer plug, I'll see if I can find some more info.

A pic would really help getting a clear shot of all the wires. Does this have a spool wheel on each side and a slider on the ft?

Look over the unit for a model as well as the brand name.

Cactus jack, you hit it right on the head!!!

That's exactly at I was looking for. I've been all over the internet and there wasn't one bit of info for it.

The new truck has the wiring harness for the electric brakes, but I needed to know how to wire it. Now I can wire it up tomorrow...

I just bought a new 2005 Chevy Silverado with everything the mind could think of in this thing!
It is AWESOME!!
2005 new truck?? Yes... 22,065 miles on it! That's a $39,000.00 truck I got for $23,000.00.

I like my old truck, but after over 218,000 miles I decided to get a better one. It runs great, but I just wanted to get at least one really nice truck before I die! <GMAO>

Thanks again for your help!!!

I did too, but I got everything from brake shoes to wiring info for all cars!

OK, I installed the brake kit today and when I hit the brakes the dash light in the Powerstop came on... turned on the dash lights and the trailer stopped!
Even with the factory schematic they had the blue and brown wire mixed up!

But even with the mix up I now have the brakes working...<G>
Thanks again.....
