27mm clutch nut
I am getting ready to put a my JOG and mean spring in and have a question. I have access to a air impact wrench and a pancake air compresser. Is this pancake compressor enough to get the nut off. I know an electric wrench is better but I am trying not to have to buy one. Thanks

In my experience impact wrenches need high pressure but not high volume.
A pancake compressor should work fine.

27mm clutch nut
An electric impact wrench will break the 27mm nut loose? My Dad has one in his shop. I was going to spring for an air impact wrench to do the job. Already have the 27mm socket.

I have a 25 gallon compressor and I couldn't budge the nut with the little yellow coiled hose I use to fill tires or the blow gun. I had to dig out my 1/2" diameter rubber hose to get enough air to bust that nut loose.

It depends also on your gun, mine wasn't strong enough to break the nut, but my neighbours gun worked well.

My son, a professional heavy truck mechanic has a Snap-On rechargeable 1/2" impact gun. It generates a surprising amount of torque. But it was around $400.
