Chrome Lowers for Kawa Nomad

I have seen a few pics of Nomads with Chrome lowers instead of the Lexan type below the windshield on the fork. Does anyone know where I might find them. I have searched but to no avail.

I've never seen any for the Nomad. They are pretty common on some other bikes, like HD and I even had a set on my C50T.

I've got a set on mine, but they were on there when I bought it, so I have no idea what brand they are or where they found them.

I'm going to make some this winter and take them in to be chromed. Not hard or a big job.

They used to be in the old Fire and Steel catalog from Ma Kaw. Check with your local dealer see if they can find them or check out some of the archives here at this site, someone makes. large clear ones, and someone else makes leather ones, maybe they could make them for you. Or maybe you could make your own.

you might try custom world international........however if you want something that is functional rather than just the flash of the chrome, get a set of oversized lowers from Chuckster on this site.....$35 (I think) and they fit on the OEM mounts......I have a set and I love them.......(lexan material)

I made a pair of these out of a sheet of nickle, oversized like my leather lowers, and did not like them. They really stuck out like a sore thumb and I thought they were quite ugly when I put them on.
